Productivity Tip:
Unify Your Chats
WhatsApp, Messenger, LinkedIn, Instagram, Slack… Ever feel like you’re constantly switching between apps trying to stay across all your messages and DMs?
Here’s a way to supercharge your chat efficiency. Use an app that consolidates all your messages into a single inbox.
Apps like Beeper and Texts.com are free to use and make it easy to organize everything in one place. Texts.com has the advantage of AI integration too, so you get automated summaries, translations, and AI assistance with drafting replies.
As a bonus, a single inbox simplifies time-blocking for social media. Manage all your messages at designated times instead of being constantly interrupted by notifications.
Why not give it a try?
Routine Breakdown
Mark Manson, Author & Blogger
Mark Manson’s Ultimate Productivity Hack
“This is the real morning routine nobody talks about,” says Mark Manson, the famously irreverent blogger and bestselling author of several self-help books. Says Manson, it’s what happens between about 6pm and 10pm. Here’s his hack for a productive morning:
The Routine:
- Eat a decent dinner.
- Don’t drink any caffeine or alcohol at night.
- Turn out all the lights by 9pm—no screens—and get into bed by 10.
- Do some light reading or a bit of meditation. “Then you go to sleep, and you wake up naturally f*****g ready to go.”
Why it works:
- Alcohol and caffeine can deeply affect your sleep quality. We might not even perceive these effects, which, research shows, “may lead to a habitual self-medicating cycle.”
- Screen time before bed may hurt your sleep thanks to the blue light exposure and mental stimulation. Best to ditch the gadgets an hour or two before sleep if you can.
- Reading before bed has a bunch of benefits—like better sleep and reduced stress. If you feel like throwing in a few minutes of meditation, that’s also a win!
What do you think about Manson’s routine? Do you find that healthy nights set you up for productive mornings?
