Be a force of love as often as you can and turn away negative thoughts whenever you feel them surface.

Wellness Tip:

Change Negative Thought Patterns

Flipping the script on negative thought patterns can be a game-changer. It fosters a sunnier outlook, reducing stress and improving overall well-being.

The process starts with awareness: you have to catch your negative thoughts in the act. Pause and ask yourself, “Is this thought helpful or hurtful?”

Then, challenge it – think of evidence against it, or reframe it into something positive. This is called cognitive restructuring. Learn more about it here along with some steps for how to give it a try today.

Productivity Tip:

Boost Productivity with Your Fitness Tracker

If you’ve got a wearable that monitors your steps and heart rate, why not let it double as a productivity tool?

Many fitness gadgets can send you gentle buzzes to stand up and stretch after an hour of focused work. You can also set personalized alerts for hydration reminders or to breathe deeply.

These little breaks and reminders can help you keep your zen, and recharge regularly for optimal brain function. Do you use your fitness tracker to stay productive?

Katrina Kaif, Actress

Katrina Kaif

Award-winning British-Indian actress and beauty entrepreneur Katrina Kaif says her mornings are fuelled by a few key steps. She:

  • Takes a liquid probiotic first thing after waking.
  • Drinks ginger water. “I boil some freshly grated ginger in water for 10 minutes and have at least three glasses of that.”
  • Does some yoga before having breakfast and getting on with her day.

Why it works:

  • Experts say taking probiotics before breakfast (instead of at night) amplifies their benefits to your gut health, because of lower stomach acid production.
  • Ginger tea has anti-inflammatory properties, vitamins and minerals, and more.
  • Yoga has a bunch of science-backed benefits – get into it if you can!

If you haven’t tried probiotics (liquid types can be easier to absorb than pills), there’s plenty of evidence to support them. Why not give them a try?
